This Policy explains how TechVentory handles personal information across marketplace accounts, transactions, Company Accounts, shipping, payments, verification, AI features, and connected marketplaces.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how CService Appliance Repair, Inc. handles personal information in connection with TechVentory. It applies to marketplace accounts, Company Accounts, Listings, orders, payments and payouts, shipping, messages, verification, AI-assisted features, connected marketplaces, support, security, and related operations.

2. Who We Are and Contact Information

CService Appliance Repair, Inc., a California corporation, operates TechVentory. Our principal and mailing address is 12051 World Trade Dr, Unit 1, San Diego, CA 92128. Privacy, legal, intellectual-property, and support inquiries may be sent to info@csdcca.com.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect identifiers and contact information; account, business, role, profile, authentication, and security information; Company Account and roster information; Listing and inventory content; buyer and seller transaction data; payment, payout, tax, refund, and chargeback records; shipping and delivery information; messages and support records; verification documents and status; AI and search inputs and outputs; connected-marketplace information; device, cookie, log, and fraud signals; and information created through safety, authenticity, intellectual-property, dispute, or legal reviews.

4. Account and Central Identity Information

TechVentory may use a shared CService Central Identity for authentication, role, profile, company membership, and verification functions across CService-operated products. This does not mean that Appliance Techline Support Case content, Wallet activity, or support spending is automatically copied into TechVentory. Authentication information is protected by role-based access and applicable multi-factor authentication controls.

5. Company Account and Team Inventory Information

Company Account information may include organization identity, Owner and roster membership, team inventory, stock levels, Listing ownership or assignment, connected-marketplace status, transaction activity, and business reporting. An authorized Company Account may retain access to business records created by roster users while they were acting for that company, subject to law and the applicable account rules.

6. Listings, Orders and Marketplace Content

Listing and order information may include part number, name, brand, appliance type, photos, videos, condition, OEM or replacement status, descriptions, compatibility information, price, quantity, package dimensions and weight, shipping settings, return terms, Buyer and Seller identifiers, order status, refund status, and evidence associated with a transaction.

7. Payments, Payouts and Tax Information

Stripe and Stripe Connect may process payment credentials, bank or payout information, identity information, fraud signals, tax-related information, payments, transfers, refunds, chargebacks, and payout status. TechVentory may store provider identifiers, amounts, fees, taxes, transaction status, and reconciliation records. Stripe Tax or another provider may help calculate transaction taxes. We use tax and payout information to comply with marketplace-facilitator, payment, accounting, and seller-reporting obligations where applicable.

8. Shipping and Delivery Information

Shipping information may include names, addresses, package dimensions and weight, service level, label and tracking identifiers, carrier events, delivery status, claims, and shipment evidence. EasyPost and carriers may process information necessary to quote, purchase, route, deliver, and support shipments.

9. Messages, Support and Dispute Information

We may process marketplace messages, support requests, refund and return evidence, intellectual-property complaints, counterfeit reports, safety reports, chargeback evidence, and enforcement records. Authorized personnel may access messages when reasonably necessary for support, fraud prevention, safety, disputes, legal compliance, or enforcement; private marketplace messages are not public.

10. Verification and High-Volume Seller Information

Verification information may include business, tax, licensing, insurance, identity, contact, banking/payee, and other seller records. Where the INFORM Consumers Act or another law applies, we may collect, verify, update, retain, and disclose required information about high-volume third-party sellers and may suspend sellers who do not provide required information. Verification badges do not guarantee identity, competence, product authenticity, or transaction quality.

11. AI, Search and Connected Marketplace Data

When a Seller uses an enabled AI feature, Listing content or an uploaded image may be processed by OpenAI or another disclosed AI provider to generate suggested fields or other assistance. Search or reference features may send search terms to Google or another search provider. A Seller who connects eBay or another marketplace authorizes the transfer of information necessary for synchronization, Listings, inventory, orders, or status as enabled. AI output and third-party search results are not verification and must be reviewed by the Seller.

12. Device, Cookie, Log and Security Information

We may process IP address, browser or application type, operating system, device identifiers, cookies or session identifiers, login events, API and error logs, fraud signals, connection events, and security records. We use necessary technologies to authenticate users, secure sessions, prevent abuse, maintain preferences, and operate the Service. If we add non-essential advertising or tracking that requires additional notice or choice, we will provide applicable controls.

13. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the marketplace; authenticate accounts; manage Company Accounts; create and display Listings; process orders, payments, payouts, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks; purchase and track shipping; operate messages and support; provide verification and AI features; synchronize connected marketplaces; prevent fraud, counterfeit and prohibited-item activity; investigate safety and legal matters; enforce agreements; maintain records; comply with law; and improve Service reliability and functionality.

14. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to Stripe, Stripe Tax, EasyPost, carriers, eBay and other enabled connected marketplaces, Supabase and hosting providers, OpenAI and other enabled AI providers, search providers, email and notification providers, security providers, insurers, legal and accounting advisors, tax authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, rights holders, and transaction counterparties when reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose or required by law. We limit disclosures to information reasonably relevant to the purpose.

15. Seller Identity Disclosures Required by Law

Marketplace law may require disclosure of Seller identity or contact information in Listings, order confirmations, transaction histories, or upon a qualifying request. In particular, if the INFORM Consumers Act applies, certain high-volume third-party sellers may be subject to collection, verification, annual recertification, public or buyer-facing identity/contact disclosures, a suspicious-activity reporting mechanism, and suspension for noncompliance. A Seller alias or preference for privacy does not override a disclosure that law requires.

16. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently use TechVentory private marketplace messages or transaction content for cross-context behavioral advertising. If a future activity constitutes a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or sensitive-data use that gives users an opt-out or limitation right, we will provide the required notice and controls.

17. Data Retention and Legal Holds

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for marketplace operation, completed transactions, taxes and accounting, seller payouts, returns and refunds, chargebacks, safety, recalls, fraud prevention, intellectual-property matters, Company Account history, legal claims, regulatory duties, and legal holds. Different categories may have different periods. When retention is no longer justified, information is deleted, de-identified, or otherwise disposed of according to applicable procedures.

18. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the Service, including authentication controls, role-based access, session security, restricted administrative access, provider security features, and logging. No system is completely secure. Users must protect credentials, use required MFA, and promptly report suspected compromise to info@csdcca.com.

19. Privacy Rights and Requests

Subject to applicable law and identity verification, users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information and may exercise applicable opt-out or limitation rights. Requests should be sent to info@csdcca.com. We may require reasonable verification of identity or authorized-agent authority and may deny or limit a request when a legal exception, transaction record, fraud need, tax duty, dispute, or legal hold applies.

20. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related law, including rights to know/access, delete, correct, receive information about categories and disclosures, opt out of sale or sharing when applicable, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information when applicable, and not receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising rights. We acknowledge qualifying requests within 10 business days and respond to requests to know, delete, or correct within 45 calendar days, subject to a lawful extension of up to an additional 45 days with notice.

21. Account Closure and Deletion

Closing an account does not necessarily delete transaction, payout, tax, shipping, message, dispute, authenticity, safety, or legal records immediately. We may retain information reasonably necessary for completed transactions, accounting, fraud prevention, chargebacks, Company history, rights-holder matters, legal claims, regulatory duties, and legal holds.

22. Children

TechVentory is intended for adults and professional or business marketplace users, not children. We do not knowingly offer accounts to minors and ask users not to submit unnecessary information about children or unrelated household members.

23. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy prospectively. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes and obtain any consent required by law before using information in a materially different manner that requires consent.

24. General Provisions

If a provision of this Policy cannot be applied as written because of mandatory law, it will be applied to the maximum lawful extent without reducing a non-waivable privacy right. This Policy should be read with the TechVentory Terms of Service and Seller Agreement.
